• WR2SILK Tool Licensing: WR2SILK tool can be licensed from Interoperate. License fee includes requisite training on using the tool. With WR2SILK installed, your test engineers can migrate your WinRunner code to SILKTest with ease. • WR2SILK can estimate exactly the number of lines of script code excluding comments and blank lines. The tool also detects syntax errors in WinRunner as well as errors that may cause problem after translation even though they will not cause problems under WinRunner (WinRunner is much more forgiving for errors in syntax).


• WR2SILK not only translates WinRunner scripts but also automatically creates a SILKTest project for every WinRunner project, automatically associating the required resources to each project.


• In WinRunner, all the objects have a 2-level hierarchy. In SILKTest, each object will have different levels of hierarchy. WR2SILK maps the WinRunner object to the corresponding SILKTest object with the missing levels of hierarchy.
